The Story Behind LookPOS

In 2018, Atif Mehmood set out with a clear mission: eliminate the software headaches that small and medium retailers endure every day. Most existing POS programs were either bloated, expensive, desktop-locked, or unable to withstand internet outages in developing markets.

Drawing on years of software engineering and deep hands-on consultation with supermarket owners, pharmacy managers, and restaurateurs, Atif designed LookPOS from the ground up as a hybrid Offline-First & Cloud-Synchronized system.

"Our philosophy is simple: technology should serve the merchant, not complicate their day. Whether a store is in Islamabad, Riyadh, or London, our system must operate fast, accurately, and without interruption."

Under Atif's leadership, the platform evolved into a comprehensive business operating system encompassing POS billing, real-time inventory management, multi-branch warehouses, HRM, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance (FBR Tier-1 in Pakistan and ZATCA Phase 2 in Saudi Arabia).
